Who We Are

WSOW is about women’s empowerment in all spaces, such as our homes, our churches, our workplaces, our communities, and most importantly, to be empowered in our own lives!  We accomplish this empowerment by gathering to share our goals, our dreams, to listen and to be listened to, through networking, through encouraging responsible motherhood, and to grow in our spiritual walk with God.  The goal of WSOW is to minister and provide support through mentoring, skill-building through workshops/seminars on leadership, financial literacy, acknowledging, and rewarding the heroic efforts of women in the community.  WSOW also looks to provide micro-scholarships to young women to advance their education, and career development both locally, as well as globally.   Our intention is to assist ourselves and other women to be our best selves by sowing seeds of gratitude, justice, peace, and love.
